"Little Cigars" (1973) Billy Curtis, Angel Tompkins - PT 4 of 5

From Wikipedia... Directed by Chris Christenberry Produced by John M. Stevens Written by Louis Garfinkle and Frank Ray Perilli Starring Billy Curtis, Angel Tompkins Release date(s) 1973 Running time 92 min. Language English Little Cigars is a movie released in 1973 by American International Pictures, about a gang of midgets who team up with a gangster's mistress, played by Golden Globe nominee Angel Tompkins, to go on a crime spree. "Cleo", the gangster's mistress, was played by Tompkins shortly after her nomination and appearance in "Playboy" (an off-shoot of her appearance in "Prime Cut" where she played opposite Lee Marvin and Gene Hackman), owing to the lack of parts available to her and indirectly to any woman of her beauty; the business of film making had entered the "Slice of Life", "Real People" paradigm in the early seventies. The film also features Billy Curtis and Jerry Maren, both of whom also played Munchkins in the Wizard of Oz. When released in the United States, the title of the film was "The Little Cigars Mob"
